We made the decision early this year to machine a small batch of these pens to test laser engraving artwork for later Cerakote application, and we had many people ask if we'd sell some of these in raw, tumbled aluminum. This batch is the only batch we have planned to release in this \"plain\" version for the time being, definitely for 2026. We may offer this in the future in anodized form, but for now, if you've been waiting on the \u003cstrong\u003ebasik.000\u003c\/strong\u003e you can grab a few. The micro-ring texture for this version is the finest we've used, similar to the texture on the upper body of the \u003cstrong\u003ebasik.005, \u003c\/strong\u003enearly imperceptible but providing a nice grip when writing.
