The Typhoon FX-109 Series is applied by mixing the metallic with a black basecoat, and laying that down evenly across the material. Mixing the metallic (solid) into the black Cerakote (liquid) can be done precisely by weight or volume, this time it was done by \"feel\". What occurred is a darker Typhoon that is similar to some of the previous releases of this color we've done, but has a deeper base tint that changes the overall look of the pen. The \u003cstrong\u003eDark Typhoon COMPAKT.001\u003c\/strong\u003e features this custom Cerakote color with a gloss clearcoat applied on top that creates and even richer look allowing the silver, blue, and slight green metallics to shine all bolstered by the black base.
