In 2025, we released a special matte black anodized pen for Black Friday, called the Tactical Turkey with special laser etching and a sticker, but this was a Limited Edition built around the basik.007. It’s now time for our official matte black special release pens to hit the site, the Blackout Series. Featuring full coverage matte black anodize on the bodies, clips, and buttons with our black Delrin sliders these pens are as stealth as you can get, and we’ve kept the pricing as low as possible. For the initial Blackout releases we chose the basik.003 and basik.009 for rollerball versions, and the COMPAKT.002 and COMPAKT.003 for ballpoint versions. We’ve anodized these in limited quantities, and we know some might be more sought after than others. If we sell out quickly, we’ll get a second batch sent out to the anodizer immediately. Though outfitted with the Schmidt easyFLOW 9000 refill, it will also accept Parker refills from a variety of companies including the Fisher Space Pen® refill. Virtually failure-free and requiring minimal maintenance, the COMPAKT.003 rollerball pen is a true everyday carry pen.
